Here at Streamline Construction, we have the exciting opportunity to work on a wide array of unique projects. We have had the chance to create all kinds of beautiful and quality remodels over the last twenty years. Today, we would like to give you some insight into one of our most extensive and exciting projects that we are currently working on. We have titled it the “Trabuco Farmhouse.” This project involves a complete remodel of a home located inn Trabuco Canyon, California. This will be a drastic transformation that we cannot wait to see come together.
Since we are still in the early phases of this remodel, our focus is currently on the structural work. The first step in this remodeling project was demolition. We started with a pre-demo meeting involving our contractor, Jason and project manager, Matt meeting with our subcontractors to discuss the process and get a game plan together. Soon after, we began the actual demolition process. This is done to create a more open floor plan for us to work with and rearrange the layout of the house to the client’s specifications.

Next for the remodeling process was building the foundation. Creating a strong base is crucial when performing such an extensive remodel. This required pouring concrete at the base of the home. Pictured below, you can see our crew pouring the concrete in order to properly support the structure.
Moving forward, we will begin framing the home. This will create structure and give the home its shape.
