Last month, Streamline Construction had the opportunity to visit the annual International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show consists of endless booths placed around the Las Vegas Convention Center to give builders, architects, developers, dealers, and distributors a glance at the most cutting-edge designs, technologies, products and services in the industry. The exhibit also includes various educational seminars and tech bytes. Streamline has attended the show for the last three years to gain valuable knowledge so that we can better serve our customers. As always, we were able to take away so much information that we plan on adopting into our work process.
To kick things off, Streamline was given the amazing opportunity to meet with our friends over at Houzz. Houzz is an incredible online resource that connects homeowners with renovation and design professionals. Over the years, our company has accumulated fifty six reviews and a perfect five star rating. Meeting with Houzz at the IBS, we were able to discuss new goals and opportunities for 2020. Another booth we were excited to visit was Buildertrend. Buildertrend is a construction software site that helps us keep our clients up to date on their construction projects. Here, we were able to learn helpful material about better serving both our clients as well as our team. We plan to incorporate these new Buildertrend advancements as we move forward on all of our job sites.
We then spent the rest of our time at the convention listening in on seminars and learning about the newest technology and materials. We were able to see all sorts of things, from kitchen gadgets to new installation techniques. There was no shortage of information as the booths spread across the entire Las Vegas Convention Center floor.
Overall, our team had a great experience attending the IBS for the third year in a row. Every year we learn so much, greatly helping our productivity. We are very thankful for our time in Las Vegas. After a long day, the Streamline crew needed some recharging. Carne asada tacos were the perfect way to unwind from such an informative day.
