We are excited to share with you that our Huntington Beach remodel project is coming along great. The kitchen, living room, and other areas of the house have been completely renovated. We have made a lot of progress over the last few weeks, with amazing results. We hope you enjoy watching this process, as we have made drastic changes.
In the living room, we have built a beautiful and unique, contemporary fireplace. 13” x 40” tile by “Porcelona,” was the material used. The tile has detailed texture, giving it depth and perception. The striking white color of the tile is named, “Blanco Venus.” Notice the wood flooring, and the dignified contrast between dark and light that it portrays. Contrasting between shades of gray, this flooring is from, “Uptown Chic,” and is in the color, “Cloud Nine.” This flooring is seen throughout the living room and kitchen.
The kitchen has come along magnificently. We have installed a Kohler, undermount sink, as well as a Kohler faucet. The finish is, “Brush Nickle.” All appliances have been manufactured by, “Café.” The cabinet doors and drawers are completely custom made by us. They are a “Shaker,” style, and have been made at the clients’ request. Custom cabinets create a very unique and personal feel, and are highly recommended. The tile used in the kitchen backsplash are 4” x 8”. They are made of marble in,“Bianco Gioia. Pental Quartz in, “Avenza,” was used for the countertops. Notice how the theme of the color gray ties in to the appliances, backsplash, and flooring, creating a well-balanced atmosphere. Lastly, the windows seen in the kitchen are Amerimax, Pro Max 8, vinyl. Both us, and our client are very happy with the results. The completion of this project is very exciting, for all parties involved.
When we began this project, there was a large wall located between the kitchen and dining area. We decided to tear it down to give the home a more open floor plan. Taking down walls to create a more spacious area makes the room look much bigger, and less crowded. This also gives us a lot more room to build extra add-ons such as a fireplace or give your kitchen a bigger feel. An open floor plan is both helpful and ideal when constructing a remodel. Especially when remodeling more than one room.
