Recently, our team here at Streamline Construction took on a kitchen remodeling project in the Coto de Caza community. Our crew worked hard to take this kitchen from a simple, bland space to a gorgeous “organic modern” look. Today, we will take a closer look into the details of this stunning remodeling project, to give everyone an idea of just how amazing our team really is.
You may notice from the before photo to the right, that the original kitchen island was much smaller before our crew got a hold of it. We dramatically expanded the island, and topped it off with a porcelain countertop. You may also notice from the photos that in addition to the kitchen remodel, we switched out the flooring as well. Our client’s original flooring was very dark and dull. Now, you will see that the new flooring is much lighter in color, and better matches the new shelving, cabinets and overall light, neutral tone of the rest of the kitchen.
While we are on the subject of cabinets, we should mention that all cabinets on this project were custom made by our team. Our clients went with a shaker style, complete with a crips coat of white paint and matte black knobs and pulls for the upper cabinets. The lower half are stained and showcase gold colored pulls and knobs. The stained, floating shelves were also built and stained by our crew to ensure that all woodwork was perfectly matching and cohesive. Streamline Construction custom makes our cabinets to our client’s specifications so they are guaranteed complete satisfaction.
While the majority of this kitchen has a neutral color scheme, our in house designer added touches of gold throughout the room for a fun flair. Both the faucet and pot filler have a gold finish, as well as the wall sconces on the right hand wall. This adds warmth and subtle touches of color to the room, without going overboard.
