2019 International Builders’ Show

Last week, the Streamline Construction team traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada to visit the annual International Builders’ Show. This is a convention that gives builders, architects, developers, dealers, and distributors a glance at the most cutting-edge designs, technologies, products and services in the industry. The exhibit also includes various educational seminars. We would like to give you some insight about the exciting discoveries that we made while attending the convention.

While perusing the aisles of the convention, we stumbled upon a company called Liebherr. Liebherr is a company that installs high quality freezers and refrigerator directly into your kitchen wall. These appliances are also energy efficient, making it more environmentally friendly.

On display at the convention, were collaboration pieces by the kitchen appliance company Smeg and the popular fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana. These two companies came together to create a limited line of unique and beautiful appliances inspired by Italian artwork. These are extremely intricate and colorful, making them true works of art for everyday use.

At the convention, we discovered an Italian company named Brombal. This company specializes in manufacturing luxury doors and windows made of high end metals. These give a rustic and unique look to any home. Not only are they stylish, but they are also made from 100% recycled metals. The heavy weight from the metal also creates better protection against weather and overall sustainability over the years.

One display catching quite a bit of attention was from a company named Premier Copper Products. This company offers hand crafted copper appliances for your home. They are the perfect blend of durable, affordable, and stylish. Their display consisted of beautiful bathroom appliances, including a hand crafted copper tub. Their mission statement is as follows: “Premier Copper Products aims to provide naturally beautiful, high-quality, hand-crafted copper products that embrace affordability and sustainability.”

Arguably one of the most innovative products that we came across at the convention was the “Laundry Jet.” This is basically a new and improved version of a laundry chute. It works by installing a system of tubes that are able to carry clothing through a vacuum force from a desired location in your home to your laundry room. Whether it is your bedroom or your bathroom, simply place your dirty laundry in the chute, press the power button, and your clothes will be transported straight to your laundry area, making this process completely hassle free. Many people were completely amazed by this display.

Our team had a great time exploring the IBS. We hope that you found some of these innovations as fascinating as we did.
